Jonesy’s Gear Being Serviced?

Post by CrashCrapenter »

BAD’s former roadie Flea has posted that “The Dalek’s Handbag” and some of Mick’s other guitars are being serviced…in preparation for them being used on the road perhaps?! 🤞 🫰🫰

I'd say Mick's more likely to be looking to sell this gear than take it on the road. Will interest a few on here, no doubt.

oof... at least the circuit boards seem intact. I wish they'd re-make these today, you could probably do all the electronics on a $5 card half the size of a matchbox.

I picked up a Jamstik Studio MIDI guitar a few months back, which has been very fun — I spent hours just cycling through my VSTs and wigging out a bit.

It's probably not enough for serious production or live performance out of the box in MIDI mode (stock pickups are decent, but this isn't going to replace your favourite Strat), but you can get some convincing stuff out of it with some know-how and setup tweaking.

Do you have plans to release anything else coming up? I really liked that track "Destromo" you shared with us a ways back.

That's quite a move. Not just in mileage but in culture.

I couldn't imagine him living anywhere else.
