Hmmm... tough one. I usually like my greatest hits to run in chronological order, but the quality dropoff after the first couple albums is pretty substantial, so it might be best to mix it up. I do want to make sure to include something off of each album... and what about Entering a New Ride and the remixed?!

I need to get back to you.

I would divide it into 2 discs, and it would be a singles and best of album tracks compilation.

disc 1
1. Rewind
2. Bottom Line
3. Medicine Show
4. E=mc2
5. V13
6. C'mon Every Beatbox
7. Beyond The Pale
8. Sightsee MC!
9. RocK Non-Stop
10. Applecart
11. Other 99
12. James Brown
13. Contact
14. Dragon Town
15. Just Play Music

disc 2
1. Free
2. Innocent Child
3. Rush
4. City Lights
6. The Globe (remix vers.)
7. Modern Stoneage Blues
8. Harrow Road (single mix)
9. Looking For a Song
10. Moon
11. Push those Blues Away
12. Singapore
13. Vitamin C
14. I Turned Out a Punk

01. E=MC2
02. Sudden Impact
03. The Bottom Line
04. V Thirteen
05. C'mon Every Beatbox
06. Sightsee MC
07. Other 99
08. Rush
09. Innocent Child
10. Can't Wait
11. Some People
12. Harrow Road (Ska mix)
13. Light Up My Life
14. I Turned Out A Punk
15. Gonna Try
16. Get It All From My TV
17. BAD And The Night Time Ride
18. Must Be The Music

Mine would be something like that. I know theres more from Megatop and Tighten Up I would include but I don't feel like listening to the albums to remember which songs are which.

a good start, but you'd have to add at least some 20 more songs....

I'm pretty happy with the contents of that radio edits promo that came with the Looking For a Song single, tho I'd prefer the full length version on most of the earlier tracks. Honestly, I'd be fine without anything off F-Punk or New Ride.

A box set of the BAD files 1-8 plus the Xtras disc would be good for me.

Don't you already have that? If you're still missing some, they are all available over at my BAD forum, with the artwork to go. Download as mp3 that is... and if you've got a printer and some phot software you should be able to make your own "box set".

After some thought and soul-searching, I realise I should have added Baby Don't Apologise and Around the Girl in 80 Ways to my list.

I would also add "Good Morning Britain" to my compilation. It was done in the BAD II era, but sounded
like BAD circa 1986-87.

Disc 1: the Planet Bad CD. Columbia put out I don't know how many cookie-cutter BAD "super hits" CDs but this is the good one. Actual work beyond ten minutes in Photoshop went into the artwork, better alternate versions of songs like Harrow Road were used, and the booklet had pictures of every single official release IN ORDER. This one's perfect as is.

Of course there's a disc 2 as my favorite BAD years were ridiculously underrepped on all the hits comps.
- Sony
- Beyond The Pale
- Sambadrome
- Applecart
- Battle Of All Saints Rd
- Union, Jack
- Dragon Town
- Around The Girl in 80 Ways
- House Arrest
- Can't Wait (live)
- Innocent Child
- Green Grass
- City Lights (off that Ally Pally Paradiso CD)
- 1999 (ditto)
- Gonna Try
- Psycho Wing
- BAD And The Nighttime Ride
- Cozy Ten Minutes
- Sunday Best (heh, I remember trying in vain to stream this song over a 14.4 modem back when BAD's supposed "comeback website" posted it in '97)

I think that all fits on a CD.

On the BAD tip, does anyone have the Kool-Aid album that was released in limited edition before the Globe? It's the one BAD thing I've always wanted to hear, but never could find legitimately or otherwise.
