Yeah, but what do they know?
Whether the full Lewisham video is in the vaults.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

The whole percussion side of BAD sounds go-go, and all the electronic sound effects that BAD uses are in go-go. So, is there a connection?
Any link or reference to what go-go is?
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.

I always thought go-go was a type of club, usually with dancers.

Yep, here's some music. I hafta say I'm getting into -it based on the percussion, mainly.

http://dmvgogo.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Also, the city council in DC is always being asked to shut down clubs after shootings, and I think there's a go-go connection there. (Since go-go = evil, I suppose.) But the lyrical themes are mainly poontangular, as far as I can tell, and less gansta. I guess I should go see for myself - if I can just get past the white man hammersmith thing.

Here's some track titles from one of the albums on dmvgogo (above)

Tracks
======
1. Sleepin In The Cut 9:45
2. Wet Wet 7:43
3. Mix It Up 7:19
4. Mighty Mouse 6:34
5. One Leg Up 10:04
6. Keep Ya Movin 6:35
7. Down Low 1:24
8. Is Ya With Me 7:5

Here's an upcoming show with Chuck Brown.
