Missed that Must have got lost in translation, I really should learn a foreign language, I'll check and see if they teach Geordie at any local Adult education collegeOlaf wrote:Doesn't mean I hate Bruce Dickinson any less...Wolter wrote:Heston wrote: Olaf, you must've been drunk, you admitted you bought Screaming for Vengance by Judas Priest.
How did you spend the rest of the weekend? Did you make it to the Tate Modern? Did you avoid food poisoning by sticking to egg based dishes?

Yep, did make it to Tate Modern. I was thrilled to see they dedicated a whole room to John Heartfield punching Hitler.Purple Hayes wrote:Missed that Must have got lost in translation, I really should learn a foreign language, I'll check and see if they teach Geordie at any local Adult education collegeOlaf wrote:Doesn't mean I hate Bruce Dickinson any less...Wolter wrote:Heston wrote: Olaf, you must've been drunk, you admitted you bought Screaming for Vengance by Judas Priest.

Doing a search for Stone Thames and ended up in this thread. Fond memories of meeting the legendary PH and Olaf, what a day. Had a good laugh reading back about PH rolling a bifta in the beer garden of the Hole In the Wall bar. Not to mention Maj unfortunately pissing in his mate's sister's hallway (sorry mate).
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Fond memories. Don't think I ever reported back on here how the evening ended? In fact I got locked into the Royal Festival Hall cause I had fallen asleep on the loo.
