Probably just me but saw this apparently standard vinyl/LP artwork for The Globe for the first time the other day. So much better than the CD, in which the BAD II symbol blocks out all of the black and white images on the front cover and the back cover is just a repeat of the world historical bad colour photo on the front. All things considered, the above could almost be regarded as good.

Re-listening to The Globe, wow, what a masterpiece. Such quality and care to every detail, reminds me of the first album so much in that regard. The revenge of Mick Jones Part II.
Yeah the vinyl sleeve works way better than the cd. Sometimes size matters. ;)

Totally out of time on this but just read that in a 2003 review in Q this song was compared to BAD (not an every day thing), and having just listened to it for the first time, its a good observation!

Also, it would appear Blur fans don't care for it much.

Yeah but Robert Smith appears to be describing himself.

Hah. Though writing 'Close to Me' is a net gain for mankind, whereas every single act Prince Andrew's ever perpetrated has been a huge, huge loss

Yep and his last album was crap.🤣

I love loads of Cure tracks. Just think Robert needs a change of image.

Hey, cool kids, I went to play that greatest hits companion disc of radio edits that was part of some versions of the Looking For a Song cd and found my copy is all 128k versions. Went looking on SoulSeek and no dice (likewise torrents). Can anybody share a higher bitrate copy? I'll publicly thank you the next time I'm honoured with a banquet.
