Or perhaps on a new BAD record. We don't know yet.

Re: B.A.D. Observations Thread
Personally, I would prefer to see the song on a new BAD album. There should be enough remixes, B-sides etc to fill out a legacy edition of "Upping Street", and whilst the song has some connection with those recordings, previously unissued songs that are included on re-issues don't get the same exposure as those issued on brand new collections.
For me it makes sense that BAD would consider all previously unissued songs, irrespective of when they were written, for any proposed new album as this gives them the opportunity to put out their strongest possible collection of songs.

If there was a choice...I'd also vote for including it on the new CD.

Observation: Listening to the OC show bootleg, and I'm still amazed by that arrangement of Rewind. It's huge on stage - very anthemic.

That song was unexpected and absolutely brilliant on the tour.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Re: B.A.D. Observations Thread
You know, with F-Punk, Mick wrote a Lionel Bart/musical hall album and attempted to record a cutting edge drum 'n' bass/rock one. I think I've sussed this album out.

F-Punk is brilliant. Don't anyone try to argue with me. You'll lose.

Picture any of those songs being sung by a fat, stage-cockney woman, who belts them out to the rafters with accompaniment courtesy of a barrelhouse pub piano. They work.muppet hi fi wrote:F-Punk is brilliant. Don't anyone try to argue with me. You'll lose.

Oh I can feature it! Not British, but I'm familiar with the tradition (and this isn't nearly the only time Mick has invoked the English music hall thing).Silent Majority wrote:Picture any of those songs being sung by a fat, stage-cockney woman, who belts them out to the rafters with accompaniment courtesy of a barrelhouse pub piano.
