Medicine Show is my new favourite song. Thank you all.
The US remix of Medicine Show is worth seeking out... as is the Dust Head remix of Sudden Impact. Both are on "The BAD Files Vol #1" (IIRC)

TBH, I find a lot of the remixes a little noodly but those two (and the US Remix of The Bottom Line) are magnificent.

Man, Apple Cart is a great tune. I had it stuck in my head all last night.
Hey Kory don't rock the boat!
Fine, I'll upset the fruit wagon

Oh my God, how have I never listened to any B.A.D? Just heard 5 tracks in a row and they were all excellent!!
If you're a Clash fan I'm not sure how you could have missed them!
Feel as if I can't even call myself a Clash fan! Always was aware of them but never delved into it, much to my annoyance now.

Seriously I have listened to Medicine Show 4 times now and can't get over the sound of the guitar, the most beautiful melody ever, it is perfection.

I love the song. Check the video out with Joe, Paul & John Lydon in it if you haven't already.

Read my mind, just watched it. Everyone looked as though they were having the time of their life, with that beautiful music, it was glorious to watch.

Who are Wings, Michael? Only the band the Beatles could have been.

It's such a massive "what if" thinking about what could have happened to the Clash if they'd kept Mick. They may have had a glorious eighties without "turning into U2" which people always seem to think would be the natural course of action.

There's still a great brief for a band sitting there - what the Clash could have done after Combat Rock. Strummer's roots and world music inclinations successfully synthesised to the contemporary rhythms of dance and melodies for the charts with a streetwise social justice edge . A new band in 2019 could achieve a lot there.

Couldn't really see a Clash with Mick in the band being able to push his musical vision forward whilst Bernie was still around.

Heston says he feels that Inoculated City is like the first BAD song and I get that a bit with the 2000 flushes sample. But Mick had already started on this course with the 12" mixes of TIRC.

Finished Upping St, very good album. Particularly liked Beyond the Pale, Sambadrome, Ticket and Sightsee.

That's for tomorrow. Now heard E=MC2, Sony and of course Medicine Show and they are excellent so looking forward to giving it a good listen.
