Is F Punk as bad as the naff cover suggests? I've heard it's considered the worst on the era, will have to find it on YouTube as Deezer doesn't even recognise it.
It's not as bad as Higher Power, but it's not all that memorable.

Gonna Try is good. Not so much the rest

Picking the best songs from Earthquake Weather, Higher Power, and F-Punk, you still couldn't get a decent combined album's worth.

I gave it a go, put random tracks from the album on, didn't do much for me but need to have a proper listen again. Hopefully it'll be a Megatop Pheonix and get better after a few listens.

Don't invest too much energy in this one.

I don't really think either are terrible. Just not worthy of the Big Audio Dynamite name, in my opinion.

Well said Flex Bad II are so underated and i have to say i love all the albums right the way through to F Punk. Only thing i cant agree with the Ally Pally Paradiso I think it sounds terrible and i only listened to it as there was nothing else at the time. But what a silly idea to make the sound poor so it resembles a bootleg . All the other ideas to make it look like a cheap bootleg was ok for an idea but to make the sound poor was a stupid idea at best.

I was at the alexandra palace gig as well and loved it, it was brilliant then had all my memories dashed when i had that recording as a reminder.
Yeah, agreed, the Ally Pally mix is shit. I was speaking strictly in performance terms, although either I got used to it or the mix actually improved a bit, but as I said I think the second half of the album sounds a bit better mixed than the opening half.

That guitar work on the Ally Pally Contact is brilliant, imho.

I didn't know it had been released until I saw it at Sister Ray one day. Couldn't believe my eyes.

Got it home, heard the roar of the opening "1 2 3 4" from "I Turned Out A Punk" and then what followed it was a weak, muddy guitar that didn't really match. The video is good though :)

TBH, the whole album did grow on me a bit and I really like the remix of Vitamin C that appropriates "The Liquidator"

The only album I can't get on with is Entering a New Ride

Some decent songs on both.

There's a version called Vitamin C Ska Mix on the BAD Files which is much better.

Hello,

Agreed.
