Yep.

Props to Davo tonight, I don't think you can under-estimate how much he's brought to the table. The band dynamics are just so much better, visually and musically. His guitar and backing vocals were tremendous today.
This is B.A.D.'s Jaap Edenhall '81 boot to put on for giving the uninitiated an introduction. I would no longer even bother with an album tracks comp; this is the definitive article.

The Flash vid dd_ captured has much crisper audio. Still hear some clipping on the MP3. Not sure how much compression is on there, but FLAC'ing the audio will probably capture a lot more than even a 320K MP3. It's definitely got more range on the HD rip than that. I'll see if I can do something with it tomorrow if somebody doesn't beat me to the punch.
Yeah, I'm up for letting the experts take over here. I just used a generic mp3 recorder, this show needs the best rip possible.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Great, great show and sound. A Party, BAD, Sightsee and Beatbox all sound particularly amazing. Rob Peter Pay Paul is nice enough, but I'm hoping any new songs bring more funk/rap and Don.

Anyone notice the Sambradrome sample dug out for Beatbox - have they been doing that all along?

Mick starts a bit tentatively (maybe nerves), but it's fucking rocking in no time. This may be one of my favourite BAD performances.
Yep, he was very nervous and he had problems with the guitar in Rob peter to pay paul.

Yeah, he's not the tallest tree in the forest. BAD is actually pretty tall for a group on average.

Yes. There's been a few samples finding their way into other songs.

That explains why I couldn't see him in the interview of the full band! ;)

i've been humming/singing RPPP ever since Wed. night, it's not gonna necessarily change the world or anything but it just brings the biggest smile to my face....i didn't think we'd ever see a new "original lineup" B.A.D. song let alone have it be so damn catchy & infectious. if a new album does happen i would love to see a 21st century rock/dub hybrid...like that reggae shit they were jammin' during soundcheck in L.A. back in April...that shit sounded wicked. RPPP definitely has a place on any new album, would be a great lead single but I think they could take what they started in '84/85 & build upon their most recent excursions ie dreadzone & c/s & possibly make music just as meaningful & trend setting. plus, there are a ton of ready made lyrics for mick & don based on the multiple calamities worldwide. where do you all think this reunion/comeback rates amongst groups that have gotten back together after 20 yrs. apart...i would say it's right at the top, they are on fire right now!!!!

BTW...if anyone ever needs to rip audio from Flash vids, it's ridiculously easy. Just download and install the FFmpeg library for Audacity and it can open .FLV files natively.

Audio on the FLAC's are ~900Kbps (variable) / 48 KHz sampling. Slight audio compression in the source vid, but not very much; it's pretty close to lossless.
