The Ultimate BAD Collection?

Post by esmark »

So... did this a couple of years ago, but can't find the thread. Best two songs from each album, both BAD and BAD II (and BA). Your personal favs please...

Putting together a list for a Clash party we're having. Already did the Clash and Joe list (most of the mates have their favs). The Topper stuff have been left out (not our kinda party Music), and Paul's Havana songs have been on a vote. The lads left the BAD stuff with me, as long as I don't just pick my weird favs, so I need some help... Please?

On a somewhat related topic, Dragon Town would have made a really good Clash song with a Joe lead vocal. It would have even made a really good BAD song if Mick had a voice at the time and they mixed the guitars up.

If we're talking party songs, Rewind should definitely represent Megatop Phoenix.

And I would replace Innocent Child with either When the Time Comes or Green Grass.

Include the Ally Pally Paradiso album as an excuse to sneak 1999 into your playlist!

The problem with two songs per album is that it weights all albums equally. I can easily name better 3rd or 4th songs off the first two or three than anything after The Globe.

Agreed. 3/4 of my Best of BAD comp would be off the first 2 albums.

Although I really love Innocent Child.
