Thanks for the info, and great work.Red Angel wrote: ↑17 Sep 2018, 4:01amThe only reference is my collection of CDs and some books for the recording dates, mainly "The Complete Clash" by Keith Topping. Some tracks have the same source but released then in a different way (e.g n.33 and 42), I have not listed in the extras "Police & Thieves / Blitzkrieg Bop (Live)" hidden-track from the promo-CD "Rockers Galore" because a better version is in one of the last M.D. remasters.

Well, this is not a precise chronological discography but only a list of all the tracks released on official CDs plus some extras (vinyl, promo, etc. as The Clash, not participations). I divided all in periods for easier consultation, however "1-2 Crush on You" was recorded in March 1978 and published as B-side of "Tommy Gun", so it will be in the next part. Thanks for your interest, corrections and additions are welcome!101Walterton wrote: ↑19 Sep 2018, 4:41amYeah that cleared it up
Why is 1-2 Crush On You not included?
What about the Polydor demos?Red Angel wrote: ↑19 Sep 2018, 1:38pmWell, this is not a precise chronological discography but only a list of all the tracks released on official CDs plus some extras (vinyl, promo, etc. as The Clash, not participations). Yeah that cleared it up

The b side 1-2 Crush On You was recorded in 1978 but it was first recorded as part of the Polydor demos in 1976.
Are we not splitting hairs here. The lads done a decent attempt at a chronological discography101Walterton wrote: ↑20 Sep 2018, 3:42pmAm I being really thick hereRed Angel wrote: ↑20 Sep 2018, 2:09pmn.15-19101Walterton wrote: ↑19 Sep 2018, 2:59pmWhat about the Polydor demos?Red Angel wrote: ↑19 Sep 2018, 1:38pmWell, this is not a precise chronological discography but only a list of all the tracks released on official CDs plus some extras (vinyl, promo, etc. as The Clash, not participations).
