Does anyone have a flac copy of Static Age by the Misfits? XLD completely refuses to read my CD of it for whatever reason.

I think I have it. I deffo have the CD somewhere around here. I'll take a look today and if it's not already ripped I'll get it done for ya.

For the real Misfits heads, if you're not aware the standalone CD release came from a better source than how the album appeared on the boxset and another song, In The Doorway.

Question: Flex is this the same version with the outtakes tacked onto the end?

Why is it so expensive on vinyl? i`ve just about picked up the rest at around £50 mark but static age goes up to £700 and everywhere is out of stock and i gather it has just had a June 2022 RSD reissue

Interesting. I got my vinyl copy new a few years ago and it was only about $20. Must be between pressings. They've kept it in print for a long time so I'd just keep an eye out for new copies to become available at a normal price. With all the vinyl production by issues, I wonder if we'll see more "legacy" titles become sporadically unavailable.

Been on a Misfits kick the past couple of days. I wish Danzig and a label would get together and do a proper re-issue campaign. A tidy singles box would be most welcome.

Then sort out the Samhain catalogue.

funny you should mention samhain i was on discogs last week and bought legacy of brutality on white vinyl, so same seller was offering free shipping on 2 orders and he had Initium so i ordered that too, so when they came i was happy, initium was pink by the way, but also has unholy passion tracks as a bonus, i`m not fussy about whats original or not, boot or otherwise i`ll have it to listen to not look at, easy to spot by the way front cover is very dark, i`m a born again misfits collector so the mistakes i made 1st time around, i know all the shit quality boots out there i won`t even bother free downloading let alone spending £££ on em

Just nabbed a bunch of Misfits 7" boots of the official 7"s. Figuring that should a Singles box ever come out then I can flog the boots. Expensive enough but sometimes ya can't help it.

I have an Initium boot from a few years back. May as well get the others as bootleggers are catering where official channels can't or won't.
