Does anyone have a good quality rip of 'Waking Up'? I tried playing my vinyl copy and it's pretty knackered and am wary about looking for another copy. I looked for a cd, but couldn't see a copy available.

I bought it when it came out originally, though I haven't played it in a long time.

Ironic to see some of these going for $30-plus, as -- how shall we say this tactfully -- Topper wasn't a terribly hot commodity after his exit from the Clash. Not that his record label didn't try, though. One of the 12-inches that I bought -- and then, taped, and re-sold -- had the blurb, "EXTENDED MIXES AND EXTRA TRACKS!" splashed across the front cover. So it wasn't as if they weren't going the extra mile (or kilometer, shall we say).

I probably got the cd somewhere....

I have a rip back at home, I can get it to you if nobody else does before the 17th (PM me if I forget). I can't recall the sound quality however, I think I grabbed it off Soulseek over 15 years ago.

Pulled off SoulSeek. Haven't listened for quality/source, but it's in Apple's lossless format.
