A band I used to go and see on a yearly basis were The Skids. Does anyone have a link to their 'Joy' album? I can't find it anywhere, and although it's not great, it does have an old friend Billy on backing vocals. Also, any live stuff? I saw them at Dundee University which was transmitted on Radio One and must be kicking around. Would also love to hear again the live version they did of 'Sloop John B/Into The Valley.' Sounds wrong but I remember it as being so right.
Not one of my favourites but they had a few great tunes.

Thanks for the link. True they weren't the best, but they were fairly local and that kind of made each tour an 'event' in this part of the world.
