This Archer show is pretty damn good.

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

This Archer show is pretty damn good.

Just been catching up on it.

For those of you who haven't seen it, it's from the Frisky Dingo/Sealab dudes, and starring H. Jon Benjamin (Coach McGuirk from Home Movies) and a few folks from Arrested Development. H. Jon Benjamin is one of my favorite voice actors because of the way he can underplay how screwed up all his characters are, and his character here is that same thing except in a starring capacity and even more sociopathic than usual.

I also like how Jessica Walter literally plays Lucille from Arrested Development. Same character, except a CIA boss. Normally I would hate character recycling, but she was never given much room to be funny toward the end of AD, so it's good to see her used to more comedic effect here. Also, Judy Greer plays a secretary who has a strangulation fetish, which is funny every damn time.

The formula might be wearing thin (the last two episodes were a little too self-consciously obsessed with sex), but it definitely deserves another season. It's the rare Adult Swim-style show that doesn't have godawful animation or require substances to fully appreciate.

I love it. I haven't mentioned it here because I figure most here would probably hate it.

I like it as well. I also assumed that no one here would like it. Frisky Dingo is better though.

Hey Wolt, next Thurs. FX is showing the past 4 episodes. So catch up.

His interplay with Katz was always my favorite part of that show. For other Jon Benjamin fans that don't already know, he also has infrequent appearances as Carl, the convenience store clerk on Family Guy. He has a somewhat large role in the episode "Baby Not on Board."

I liked him on Human Giant too. Looked nothing like I expected him too, but I suppose I expected him to look like a real, live Coach McGuirk.
