Mine are pretty mainstream:

1. Suffragette City
2. Modern Love (don't judge -- I love this song)
3. Ziggy Stardust
4. Ashes to Ashes
5. Space Oddity
Got a Rake? Sure!

3. Lady Stardust

5. Up the Hill Backwards
Love Lady Stardust, and love how Tom Robinson namechecks it in 2-4-6-8.

UTHB is great too.

Wolt, before you get a tep boner, remember he was my lone Aerosmith defender.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I like both. :disshame:

I'll admit I liked Pump when it came out, but no staying power.

We walked two rooms over and it was indeed playing in the bar. "Changes" is the greatest song that has ever been written and recorded by anyone. Time may change me, but I can't trace time. I said that time may change me, but I can't trace time.
That's great.

I like their 80's schmaltz for what it is. Love in an Elevator and Angel are great, though horribly dated.

I fear Wolt's wrath if we continue this discussion here.

I don't know shit about it his catalog, but here's my stab at five songs:
Space Oddity
Diamond Dogs (only one listen though)
Changes
Sound and Vision
Warszawa

I'm sure I gave you this vid before but here it is again.

This is what happens when a fairly decent song writer but bland performer has his material performed by a star.

Alright, Greetings era Bruce had no clue how to capture his songs on record. Live versions of that tune from 75 SMOKE. Bowie's studio version is better than Bruce's, but a proper live take from Bruce is probably equal if not better.

Time
Rock 'n' Roll Suicide
Station to Station
Modern Love
Ashes to Ashes

TVC 15 is great, but I find the outro a bit dull.
Also Mott's version of All the Young Dudes possibly trumps this whole list for me
