Despite being a Northerner I've never watched Corrie. I much preferred EastEnders but I haven't seen that for years.Dr. Medulla wrote:The missuz watches Coronation St. every day and whenever it goes to commercial, I say, "Aaaaand cue the sad clarinet."Heston wrote:I always thought it was ripped off the theme from Coronation St.oliver wrote:I just realised, nearly 30 years on, that the solo in C'Mon Every Beatbox is essentially '3rd Stone from the Sun' by Jimi Hendrix.

I've just remembered Mick nicked the theme tune from EastEnders for V13. Are there lifts from Albion Market and El Dorado elsewhere on Upping Street, I wonder?

What strikes me about CS is that, from my extremely casual observations, it employs some very attractive actors and some of the most mirror-cracking mistakes of nature. It's just damned odd.Heston wrote:Despite being a Northerner I've never watched Corrie. The Pier by Carbon Silicon is a fairly direct lift of Ron Grainer's Steptoe and Son theme.

What is the Sudden Impact (Dust Head Remix) from? Its a great version. Definitely some re-recorded vocals, "burnt out jerkoffs from the neighborhood" as a new lyric and the Billy Jean synth part is in there too.

It actually sounds like a total remake rather than just a re-recorded vocal. Not sure if it was done before or after the album version.River wrote:What is the Sudden Impact (Dust Head Remix) from? Josh Cheuse had something to do with this version. I always liked it.
