Despite being a Northerner I've never watched Corrie. I much preferred EastEnders but I haven't seen that for years.

I've just remembered Mick nicked the theme tune from EastEnders for V13. Are there lifts from Albion Market and El Dorado elsewhere on Upping Street, I wonder?

What strikes me about CS is that, from my extremely casual observations, it employs some very attractive actors and some of the most mirror-cracking mistakes of nature. It's just damned odd.

The Pier by Carbon Silicon is a fairly direct lift of Ron Grainer's Steptoe and Son theme.

What is the Sudden Impact (Dust Head Remix) from? Its a great version. Definitely some re-recorded vocals, "burnt out jerkoffs from the neighborhood" as a new lyric and the Billy Jean synth part is in there too.

It actually sounds like a total remake rather than just a re-recorded vocal. Not sure if it was done before or after the album version.

Josh Cheuse had something to do with this version. I always liked it.
