Is there a favorite exhibit in the Ukrainian Museum you would recommend?

Less geography than the Leafs being the traditional team of English Canada. Add in Prairie provincial rivalry that makes it hard to cheer for teams from Alberta or Manitoba, plus some resentment of not having a team in Sask., and it makes some sense. As well, Wendell Clark played for the Saskatoon Blades (the junior hockey team), and there's still that emotional connection. More generally, there are plenty of kids from Saskatchewan playing all over the NHL, so that probably also affects rooting interests. Drive by pretty much any fuckdump town and there'll be a sign that says it's the home of some hockey guy.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 1:52pmI count seven teams closer than the Leafs. This is crazy talk.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 1:27pmBack in the 80s, it was Oilers and Leafs. I think it's mainly Leafs now, tho I could be wrong.

My research tells me that there are 5,300 black people in Saskatoon. Did they take a wrong turn somewhere?

Verns is actually really good, tho I haven't had it in decades. Just an insane amount of toppings—like deep dish without the deep dish crust. The pizza of choice for fatties.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 3:38pmWhat the fuck is this?

Lord, what an obscene amount of meat on that thing. With every ten pizzas, you get a free operation to unclog your arteries.

Probably. Not my thing, so I can't say. I will say I smell a lot more pot walking around in Ottawa than I ever did in Saskatoon.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 4:35pmDo people smoke a lot of grass up there? That pizza makes me think they do.

Since legalization it is my observation that damn near everyone in Boston is high as hell. I don’t smoke much anymore but I do enjoy the aroma about town.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 4:54pmProbably. Not my thing, so I can't say. Legalization is coming here in October and one of my sisters is looking forward to it to relieve some persistent anxiety.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 7:07pmSince legalization it is my observation that damn near everyone in Boston is high as hell. I envy those whose anxiety is relieved. I find it makes me super paranoid and unfit for social situations.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 7:17pmLegalization is coming here in October and one of my sisters is looking forward to it to relieve some persistent anxiety.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 7:07pmSince legalization it is my observation that damn near everyone in Boston is high as hell. Red wine relaxes me like no other booze. Making my own makes it affordable for me to cheaply unwind every evening. A couple good glasses and my stress melts away.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018, 8:00pmI envy those whose anxiety is relieved.
