Re: NEW JOE STRUMMER ANTHOLOGY?
Listening to The Cool Impossible. Salewicz writes about this tune in Redemption Song. Also mentioned number of the Sid and Nancy tracks, including at least Two Bullets and some of the pseudo band names under which Joe performed these tracks. He describes The Cool Impossible and the S&N tracks to a detail that he sure had heard them. Did he have his own copy of them, who knows?
Anyways, he also writes Forbidden City was written and Joe chose the name Mescaleros for his future, proper band around this time 1993. Would be great to hear a early demo of Forbidden City. I love the song.

It may be a deliberate mix of "procured" and "produced."BR16ADE_R055E wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 5:28pm“Procuced”
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

The title being 001 and not 01 ensures there will be at least 99 more releases. Guaranteed.BR16ADE_R055E wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 3:48pmHopefully, there will be releases up to Joe Strummer 101 (seems an appropriate number).
