I was talking to a fellow Clash fan on Facebook, just a young lad of 19, and his favourite Joe song is Boogie With Your Children. I was then aghast to learn his favourite album is Cut the Crap. I told him to check this place out immediately.
"Hi, Bernie."
Unless it was eumaas, but he's 20 now, isn't he?
Real talk: we need to all agree eumaas needs to remain a teen instead of being...how old is he really now? 50? At any rate, his actual age is far too old for my own relative age to feel young.
eumaas is a sixteen-year-old youth whose body is occupied by a four-thousand-year-old rabbi. Isn't this settled dogma?

Yeah, maybe I'm being too harsh. It's possible I'm just carrying around the Southpark baggage from the time. You're right, it does sound like he's enjoying himself.
And I’ve never seen SouthPark so I just enjoy the song.
I should check to compare the timeline to when he did Return Of The Blues Cowboy.
Return of the Blues Cowboy is easily my least favourite thing Strummer ever did.
Children, boogie, with your.
Never heard Return of the Blue Cowboy until just now. It seems inoffensively unimpressive. Everyone hates Jools Holland though right? I don't know shit about him so this seems like a bland retread.

Boogie With Your Children makes my ears bleed.
Since when did everybody hate Jools Holland no one told me that one.
For the record your honour I don’t hate him. I like his music and his TV show, one of the few to have decent music on it.

I don't like him. He plays boogie woogie piano over otherwise acceptable songs. His show is mostly a bag of shite.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Agreed. There’s too much (un)talent, X factor type crap out there to be hating on jools holland far as I’m concerned. Used to find the show essential listening but for whatever reason I find it a bit of a slog these days, usually just record and ff through the boring bits which include most of his interviews.

I always had the suspicion the blues cowboy was payback from Joe for refusing to let Jools do his boogie woogie thing that time the meskies appeared on the show. Don’t really mind it but it’s very eminently forgettable.

It just sounded like a bit of mumbling really, it never totally spoiled my enjoyment of the South Park version.
Yes, mumbling that sounds like Chef/Isaac.
Hang on, I never watched the show, how in god's name would I have known that a five second snatch of background mumbling was the legendary singer, Isaac Hayes?
I never watched the show, either. Hated it. But there's a video snippet of Joe and Chef in The Future is Unwritten, which you must have seen.

And legendary actor. He was on The Rockford Files and in Escape from New York.

Hello,

Although the above bold text may seem like an oxymoron, I have experienced this phenomenon. I never watched Friends ... but I hated it.
gkbill, I totally share your sentiment on Friends. And never watched it.

That's it. Russian disinformation programs on social media have gotten completely out of hand!
