It is 8 pm EDT and I am awake.

edit: I can't quite explain it, but the idea of making Mary Hart sad enthuses me. I think it's more generally a dislike of celebrity fans.

Why did belly button scratch?

Something about paying a blood debt to the children of Montezuma.

Price makes me baseball-horny. Him and Eovaldi are punching their tickets to legendary sox post season performances this year.

I've got the international feed, so it's Matt Vassantamariaian, but no. Joe Buck is the sports announcer version of the singer, not the song. He is, bar none, the worst announcer in sports because he is a writer paid by the word.

Price is even winning me over. I'm seriously tickled that Eovaldi and Pearce are the studs of this WS.

Someone is gonna pay Eovaldi a ton of money to be a mediocre pitcher over the next 2-5 years.

Or he's turned the corner. Surgeries behind him and he claims TB's pitching coach, Kyle Snyder, helped him refine his stuff. Maybe. I'd be good with Boston offering an incentive-laden contract to see whether he has finally found his potential. But if someone wants to open their wallet, good for him making the most of his postseason.

Also, I'm still awake and lazing on the couch.

Amazing. The best Sox team of anyone's lifetime. I thought nothing would be more enjoyable than the fluke season of 2013, but this might well be my favourite. Such an easy team to like and they just did everything right, seemingly so effortlessly. Salut to Beaneater, Boddington, and Flex, and to all the closeted Sox fans who emerged this post-season. ;)

Good night, folks.
