Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

I thought we agreed that absolutely no non- Gritty-based content was allowed in the pond soccer thread this year.

I just remembered this, which on first viewing was a top 5 all-time laugh for me.

Re: NHL 2018-2019
A few weeks ago, I became curious about how the Blues could have been successful right off the bat, making the Stanley Cup finals in the first few years, then being pretty mediocre the rest of the franchise's history. And I found out that the league's rules mandated that an expansion team be in the final in those first few years. So they were the best of the new teams. Yay? Still, I like the name and logo. They shoulda relocated to Saskatoon in the mid-80s.

And we are going to the semifinals! And if we play the Avalanche, we will be playing a Stan Kronke team. So, if we win that series, poetic justice.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 6:25amA few weeks ago, I became curious about how the Blues could have been successful right off the bat, making the Stanley Cup finals in the first few years, then being pretty mediocre the rest of the franchise's history. Weird, but I always think The Goal was against the Habs. Conflating rivalry and iconic moments, I guess.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 11:13amAnd maybe, just maybe...JennyB wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 10:51amAnd we are going to the semifinals!
