Jenny is still looking down on you pikers from #13. :naughty:
I've been to St. Lou. I've also been to NOLA and Detroit which means I've been to 10% of the 50 deadliest.
I've been to about 5 or so as well and 3 of the top 10 safest.
AND NOBODY EVEN BOTHERED TO CALL ME. I KNOW ALL OF THE COOL PLACES TO GO IN ST. LOUIS.

I lied. There are no cool places in St. Louis.
If it makes you feel better, I've told the Boss that if she ever has a conference in StL, I'll come along, and you can treat us to some authentic cheese slices-on-crackers pizza.
It would be, um, my pleasure? There are actually some good pizza places here that don't serve that crap. We will take you there.

And yes, that makes me feel better. :)

It was remarkably easy. You have to pay a $.25 toll to walk over the bridge. I have now been to two of the deadliest cities in the world, #20 Juarez & #21 Baltimore.

Jortstown wasn't one of them. I know I told you I had some work there but my old manager was an asshole and yanked it from me.

I guess this thread makes sense to say that if people come to Ottawa, I'll be here (conversely, I won't be in Saskatoon). I won't go into details publicly, but the Boss and I had a number of intense and difficult conversations over several days before deciding to stay. There were several conditions I had to agree to, not least of which involving my anxiety problems, but they were all sensible to me. Still, we emerged from the whole process feeling more than a bit battered—I especially feel shitty—and hardly in a celebratory mood (which would have been the same if we had decided to return west).

Thanks, and definitely. Especially given the Boss' demand that I get out more.

Sorry it was such a stressful process, Doc. That really stinks. Hoping things can get better now. It sounds like the whole situation was no-win.
