With a serious dose of, "What the hell, why not?" Nothing, however, will top the flashback of the walrus giving birth in the back of the car.revbob wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 10:13amI really hope good drugs are the explanation for Mr Dodd's stories.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 9:56am
I don't want this to be a weird tangent. I want this rock star/Lego thing to be core to the next story.

How does the artist not see that horrible cauliflower ear?! It's like an inflamed portal to L'il Ted's lizard brain.

He has a King Kong poster on the wall. I must say he's not being drawn nearly as ugly as he was in recent story arcs.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑08 Mar 2019, 8:46am

Can someone explain Mark Trail to me? Is it purposely "off beat" or is it unintentionally funny?

It's a combination adventure/nature strip that dates back to the 40s. There's no doubt that a lot of the weirdness is intentional and meant to be funny. But stuff like Mark's skill in punching his way out of problems, exploding boats and cars, and his hideous adopted son who sometimes looks like Ted Cruz, that's the real nectar. Nothing will ever beat this:WestwayKid wrote: ↑12 Mar 2019, 8:34amCan someone explain Mark Trail to me? Is it purposely "off beat" or is it unintentionally funny?
