Anything from that hot summer of 83 is great.
Woah woah wee eh yeah!
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Jimmy The Hoover? Was that really the best name they came up with?
The song itself is a bit of fun, nice happy melody but it's no Tarzan Boy, now that was a good record.

Would you believe this has just been on the radio? Ken Bruce played it on Pop Master.

Good confession thread here. I sorta like Saturday in the Park. Very evocative of a certain sort of pleasant summer day.
25 or 6 to 4 is a straight up butt kicker!
I agree - love the horns in that one.

I've said before that I hate Billy Joel's version there, but I'm convinced someone could make something great of that.
Like Ronnie Spector's version of Say Goodbye to Hollywood. BJ's is awful, hers is brilliant.

This video is not available here, I'll assume it's a classic though.
It is Peaceful Easy Feeling by the Eagles. The song's only redeeming quality is that it gave us this classic Tepista gem:
"No band that calls itself rock should have a song called Peaceful Easy Feeling."

I'm still close with anyone I care to see from school. If anyone else was worth it, I'd still be seeing them.
Exactly. I'm still friends with a handful of people - but not many. We had a 20th back in 2015 and I skipped it. I really had no desire to drop a bunch of money to hang out with people I really didn't care to hang out with. Nothing personal - I just don't get the desire to cling to those days. Life has been far more interesting post high school. High school was not the 4 most important years of my life. It was simply 4 years out of the 42 I've lived so far. The fact of being actively in high school is not significant.

Yeah, I like Tarzan Boy.
I unironically love that song. It should’ve gotten the ironic love that Toto got.

I do not like any other songs by them, but those two are a hoot.

I probably owe the first couple/few Chicago records a listen, their later stuff is so bad that I don't know if I've really mined those albums to see if there are a few more tasty treats within.
