I think you've been discussing KISS with the wrong doctor.
I really want Heston and I to be talking about KISS until our minds are goo. (So, one more year?)
I fear the brain syphilis has already taken hold.
Heston's is worse (I can say that because I replied first).
Sorry this isnt the Twilight Zone thread.
Okay: He defends KISS. Brain syphilis proven.

Just saw this come across the "Morrissey Official" Facebook feed:

THE GUARDIAN - THE VENDETTA, ETC...

A well written piece by Joshua Surtees in The Guardian for a change today.

Unlike the bullshit consistently put out there by hacks the likes of Tim Jonze, using his buddy Billy Braggart, etc.

Joshua's piece was heartfelt and articulate.

His talents would actually better serve the world by using it for a more important goal than critique of a music artist.

We could really use writing of this caliber over here in the States writing against Trump, etc.

However, there is only one little problem with Joshua’s story……

MORRISSEY IS NOT A RACIST!

You can say what you like about his provocative views.

But I’ve been with him as manager for over two years now.

When you travel together around the world, meeting all kinds of people, something like that would not go unnoticed.

So….

Who’s right? Who is wrong?

Why don’t we find out together!!!

Joshua Surtees - If you read this…...I’m offering you a job!

We invite you to come out for the first week of our U.S. Tour in September.

All expenses paid.

Cover the tour for us, and come see for yourself.

Since M was such an important influence in your early life it should be worthwhile.

One thing…….you’d have to find a better paper than The Guardian to sell it to.

Since they have the absolute lowest circulation of all the major dailies in the UK.

And since the paper and their music editor have now become so well known for their personal vendettas against artists, etc.

What do you say? - PK

This is not the first time his manager - Peter Katsis - has issued such a Facebook statement. The last one I read was an attack against the NME. Maybe if his client would stop coming across as an ignorant racist buffoon he wouldn't have to keep trying to defend him...

Frankly, at this point anyone who spends that much time with Morrissey and doesn’t see the racism has to be a racist themselves.

What's great about this thread is that, much like Heston's KISS thread, whenever it gets updated, I immediately think, "What's he done now?"

Why what has Heston done now? ;)

Well, it is a Friday night, so we might get a KISS update depending on how empty his bottle gets.

The full interview is quite the interesting read. He really rambles on and on. He even apologizes for insulting Robert Smith decades ago. The interview almost felt somewhat Trump-esque.

Interview was conducted by his nephew - which seems like an odd choice. Also - one would think maybe it would have been put on for damage control - but he further fans the flames by making a bunch of really awful comments.

Very Trump-esque indeed. Rambling, constantly making himself the victim, even making sure he has a sympathetic interviewer who lobs softball questions and affirms his answers. I look forward to his collaboration with the girls from Prussian Blue.

I don't think damage control is something Morrissey ever considers. Maybe he's doing his own Producers thing?

I did find it interesting that he has a new album already recorded and ready to go. The revealed titles do intrigue me:
Jim Jim Falls
Bobby, Don’t You Think They Know
Love Is On Its Way Out

It's strange that Morrissey, who used to produce the best sleeves/records where even whether it had 3 or 4 prongs on the 7" cutout was of utmost importance, lets his nephew run his site with an awful font and no way to even search it and lets the formatting errors in the interview go online.

I know this thread exists but I initially dyslexicly saw it today as the
Al Jourgensen/ Ministry Thread.

Wishful thinking, but damn that would be so much better.

Less embarrassing racism, anyway.

I wasn't aware of any racism in relation to Al/Ministry
