All Hail Get Down Moses
20 Rounds, a LOT of songs that we had to refresh ourselves with from the Wilderness Years, and some intense disagreement on what Joe's Canon is all about. You folks weren't just religitating an artist's historical catalog reputation, you were creating it. Well done.
Lot's of fun, this one. I really didn't know what to expect going in and looking back at how it all went down I'm still surprised by a fair bit of it. Wild times.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Definitely the most interesting of the assessments we've done.Flex wrote: ↑19 Jul 2019, 11:33am

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Most lopsided of the final rounds, too.

Yeah, big ups to the three of you for hosting these survivor polls. I know how hard it is to get a poll together.

I think it is apt that one of the last songs Joe wrote won the poll shows he was still on the up and a master of his craft when he died.
Thanks to Flex for the effort put in to this and also credit for the one liners that opened each new poll after elimination
