Just put it on, nice beat, overall a decent song. Really like his vocals.Marky Dread wrote: ↑12 Aug 2019, 4:33pmThat's a good cover and another one I like is "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down".

Yes, don't listen to him.

There is only one answer really. To be fair "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" as mentioned earlier is pretty good, I just listened again. He has a couple of other ok songs but the best thing he ever did was lend the Q-Tips brass section to SLF.

People are always talking these guys up but I'm finding they are a little too smooth for me. Too much relaxing by the poolside, not enough danger in a dark alley.

I pretty much agree with Heston. Paul Young does have a decent voice and as mentioned there are a couple of good songs. But it's all covers and in most cases as would be expected the originals are better.Heston wrote: ↑12 Aug 2019, 6:09pmThere is only one answer really. There was a song or two that I thought were pretty good, but as an album I found it fading into the background.

The greatest early 80s album ever released in the 21st Century. Cheers to Matey for turning me onto this classic.

Andrew got me on board too. Disparate Youth is one of my favourite songs since the millennium.
