Echo what WWK said, though we may not understand all the in jokes, it's a good place to be. I feel like the new kid that has mingled himself in to a decent bunch. In the words of Will from The Inbetweeners, "Anyone can be your friend. All you have to do is hang round them long enough."
We are mighty glad you are both here.

So after my other plumbing issues I noticed there's a small leak at the boiler for the hot water. I call a plumber he asks me how old is it and I guess around 25 years as I've never had to change it out. He's all incredulous and such as he says they should only las 10 to 15 years. Today is turning into an expensive day.

Yeah, at the same time plenty of people have it worse than I so I try and keep things in perspective. What was I thinking that I could have a relaxing day at home though.

Yikes. I had a plumber tell me my pipes under the house were a ticking time bomb. That was like 4 months ago :disshame:

It's only the start of October and we're already making pigs in blankets for Christmas. One of the lads has put Xmas tunes on to make it worse, losing the will here.
