Sorry - I wasn't on IMCT all weekend (and yesterday was a holiday). Very glad you decided to stay, Tom - you really have been a breath of fresh air. And, as for Doc threatening to punch Chico in his locally owned nose - Doc is a pacifist. He would never do such a thing. Just like I wouldn't actually kill my husband for leaving dirty dishes in the sink.
Thanks Jenny, like I said earlier, was just going through a rough day and decided to be a bit dramatic.

Appreciate what you said though!
Just don't leave any dirty dishes in the IMCT sink!
Wait till you see the toilet!
Oh hell!

I miss Rattie even though we used to argue a little bit about the Replacements and KISS.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Aye. He's good people and I hope he's enjoyed the Red Sox shittastic season and the Yankees' success.

Look at what popped up on my Facebook feed last night. It went on a lot further than that.

I am so, so sorry that you've contracted chicolocalitis. Avoid hitchhiking, birthday announcements, and classic rock for at least three months.

Two of those three I already avoid!

At worst, you might just suffer occasional flare-ups of insufferability. Stay out of Mississippi to be safe, tho.

Didn't know you had a double surname, Jen. I like it.

Though Bernstein Knopf would be funnier.

I am so torn between being genuine amused by the fact that MarkyJ comes back here every few years just to be a humorless dick and genuinely wondering if he does the rounds of other places and runs out of clouds to yell at before returning.

Heston beautifully captured it back during the BAD survivor poll:

Why bother commenting then? Are you this much hard work in real life or is it an online thing?

I miss winding him up about the weather.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
