Good job as always, Marky—Darling Buds and The Primitives were the only ones that came to my mind.

Also, the singer in that video is adorable (I'm a sucker for freckles).

Voice of the Beehive fit that profile...

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Here's another couple, Kory. Such a chorus, and the vocals at the end are so transfixing it can bring me a tear, even tho it's not a sad song and I've no idea what the hell she's singing.

This one could make you choke, especially if you've ever suffered bi or mono polar depression.

And one more from Jenny Lewis and the boys: sex and romance in the 21st century - on the full album version (after the fade out here) it's NOT "I don't care I love you", but "I don't care I LIKE you". A whole nother world of context and meaning and longing...

Buzzcocks - 'Singles Going Steady' (1979; 2001 I.R.S. CD version. Copies of this disc are going for $496 US on Amazon? Are you fucking joking me?)

I'm currently remastering the first three albums all the original singles, Demos, Peel sessions. Will form a three disc set.

Singles Going Steady has been reissued. The reissue includes the "many parts 1-3" Chainstore / Airwaves / Strange Thing etc. That price is silly and you will find a much cheaper one on Discogs

Hello,

The Neighborhoods - Last Known Address. Bit. Too. Produced. This makes sense as David Minehan (sp?) is currently producing a lot of band in his own studio. I hope they tour and play like they did the newer songs like this (2nd below). I'm still happy these guys put out new music (first new stuff in 27 years). Bostonbeaneater may recall these guys. Compare the record version versus the live if you've got time.

Ian Hunter (w/ Mick Ronson & Mick Jones) - 'Short Back & Sides' (1981; 2017 remaster w/bonus outtakes; co-produced by Mick Jones [also on guitar, backing vox, percussion]; also featuring Topper Headon on 5 out of 10 tracks; Tymon Dogg, Ellen Foley, Bill Price engineering on the Wessex tracks).
Another of the great albums from the glorious year 1981, even though the album was roundly panned at the time. But fuck those assholes - it's great and even a bit 'something for everybody' in its accessibility.

B-side comp presumably. What are the tracks?

Put together to save time for vinyl lovers changing all those 7s.

Hello,

This is a great album. After Welcome to the Club, I go to this album for Ian Hunter. Central Park N West, Lisa Likes Rock N Roll, Gun Control, and Theatre of the Absurd are among his strongest songs.

Yep the early singles b sides. Some of these aren’t on albums or comps so nice to have in one place.
