Going to see Roy Wood Jr on the 25th. Comedy show.
He's pretty good on TDS. Let me know how his show is.
Yes he’s a wizard.

Nothing in the near future, but 40 years ago tonight The Clash played my home town for the one and only time. Image

Hello,

This might run long. I teach as an adjunct in the Ohio University Master's in Coaching Education with an emphasis in Soccer Coaching program (yes, there is such a thing). As I was overseeing a session this morning, Should I stay or Should I Go came on over the PA system. I remarked how I had seen the Clash and a student (nearing graduation) mentioned he had seen the Clash at Vassar College as his mother had worked there and he got free tickets to all shows. I was at that show (Clash Mark II) - amazing coincidence! We had a good conversation about music and bands of that era.

Just got tix for Social Distortion in March. We're becoming a destination for some punk shows again. Bikini Kill coming in May and some shows I wont be going to like Against Me and AntiFlag.

Then I see this on the horizon ...
Doyle is coming to town. Don't think I would pay good money for it though, maybe Canadian.

I liked Anti-Flag for a few years, but they've sort of lost me over the last 4 albums or so. Propagandhi is my political punk band of choice these days.

Their last album came out in 2016, I think. They've been getting more heavy and thrashier over the years—I like them a lot more now than on their first two albums.

At the time it came out I thought How to Clean Everything was the shit. Haven't heard it in close to 20 years now.
