Didn’t realise the live recordings only back to June 99. I remember how exciting it was reading about the gigs and hearing bits and pieces of live stuff and new songs. Hearing the new album in October was amazing and only had to wait 3 months to see them live in January 2000.

I saw them a few months after this. What a show.

Saw them August that year, just incredible energy and emotion, seeing Joe back to doing what he was born to do. Saw the clash in 84 and that was great but 99 was better, probably just appreciated it more being that bit older.

I saw them in Oct 99 at Glasgow Barrowlands and it was like a religious experience after all those years.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I saw them as soon as I could, at the Astoria (RIP) London in 1999 - October 21, according to setlist.com.
The sight of Joe's guitar in its stand, ready on stage, before they came on was worth the ticket price alone!

I saw them at the Big Day Out In Auckland. I didn’t bother with most of the bands and ignored the Chillis so that I could stand front of stage by Joe’s mike.
Most poignant moment for me was when Joe said, “ I want to take you all down Shepherds Bush Road.....”

One thing that stood out for me was how the new stuff rocked, both YY and TA were sensational on first listen. I do prefer the later meskies, post Tymon coming on board, but the early version were fucking great too. Just watching Roseland and i dont think even the clash ever rocked SEH so damn hard.

I was at that gig too. I heard you and your mate shouting, "1,2,1,2,3,4..."
