My US version of s/t skips in the intro to CCR. I listened to that version so many times that when I hear the unskip version it sounds like an alternate intro

Ha! I've had many albums like that, before I learnt to repair them by holding the stylus/needle over them as they skipped (often caused by dandrif or other crud), back when I had nerves of steel. My first cassette copy of NMTB had a tape- wobble defect at the start of "God Save the Queen" and I thought it was part of the song, so when I got my vinyl copy I was almost disappointed to hear it properly!101Walterton wrote: ↑06 Apr 2020, 7:44pmMy US version of s/t skips in the intro to CCR. I think you need to be off the streets by nightfall.
"Curfew" opens side 2 (The White Side).

The other thing I didn’t think through was the amount of typing required for the poll
I will do it tomorrow.

I thought that you could pick any track as long as its not the Clash? does it have to be an opener?Marky Dread wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 5:52amI think you need to be off the streets by nightfall.

Re: The Ultimate Album By Track
Maybe the latest upgrade modified things but wasn't there a limit to the number of poll entries when we did the 'BAD/Clash survivor' thing? Some albums had to be split into two.101Walterton wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 7:02amThe other thing I didn’t think through was the amount of typing required for the poll

Yeah, it used to be ten options. I remember cos This is BAD was the only one which could be done in one.

We are deciding the best opening track of all existing opening tracks except any by the Clash. Then we move on to track two.deny wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 8:51amI thought that you could pick any track as long as its not the Clash? does it have to be an opener?Marky Dread wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 5:52amI think you need to be off the streets by nightfall.
