Early one.
Posted in this thread before mate. I think it was Rattie who posted some early pics. Also Keith Levene posted a couple when he was promoting his book.

It's Terry.

Pablo had sideburns and Terry didn't.

Haven't seen this one from Roskilde:

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Hello,

Maybe I'm a bit outside on this one but I think it looks a little too rock star-ish, a little too posed - latter-day Bono would love a photo like this. I have no doubt as to Joe's intent being honorable but...

Hence my "Freddie Mercury" comment.

It's posed as hell. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Bernie sent Strummer to a dance teacher or mime artist for lessons around the start of Clash II as the poses are a lot more contrived and photo ready in that time. I just love the crisp bw photography of the shot. The fact that it's Joe's in one side or it is almost irrelevant.

Yeah it definitely shows where the band were heading like it or not. This is where U2 took over.

He may have made dramatic poses, but they were completely undermined by the terrible fashion he had at the time:
