I was eating lunch outside and got attacked by one of Kory's Murder Hornets (band name Kory and the Murder Hornets).

You really saw one in person? How big was it?
Im half kidding. It was a regular hornet in all likelihood. But I do have an allergy so...

I took a racquetball racket to it.
I've become such a softy that all insects* that I determine ineligible for indoor life get escorted out, not stomped out of existence.

* Wood lice excepted, mainly because they're determined to die rather than accept transportation.
I'm the same way. Though I don't know what I would do if I encountered a brown recluse.
i'm pretty good with spiders until they get to a certain size. And it's really really hard to get any kind of serious injury from a spider (as opposed to certain snakes which are WAY deadlier).

The wife on the other hand thinks all spiders are black widows and also that black widows are instant death.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Larger spiders are my biggest fear, saw a bastard big one in the sink a few months ago. Honestly thought my days were numbered either by drowning in sweat or my heart simply exploding. Took me 15 minutes to gather the courage to run past it to leave the room.

I love spiders in the house. I think they are great for getting rid of flies who I can't understand.

I never push spiders out of the house, I might shoo them if they're in a dangerous area, like near the shower drian or something. And I don't like Daddy Longs Legs for some reason. I'm not scared of them, I just don't see any value for some reason. Shit, I'm a spider racist and I didn't even know!

I like spiders for the mozzie catching webs.
Problem is we have one common spider that has a very nasty bite. Starts like a mozzie nite but then spreads it’s poison snd can tske months to give rid of it. They are also very small so easily get lost in shoes, bedding and everywhere else.

Fucking phone!!! I will try again:

This was the line that confused me: "I like differs for the mozzie catching webs."

I still didn't know what the heck a mozzie was so I looked it up and it makes sense in retrospect.

Isn’t mozzie a common name for a mosquito everywhere?

Isn’t mozzie a common name for a mosquito everywhere?
I assumed it had something to do with Morrissey.
