We just finished watching The Plot Against America. Christ but it is harrowing. The sense of the walls closing in is steady and despairing. I haven't read Roth's novel, so I can't say how it compares, but this is a devastating commentary about America over the past several years.
I'm going to read that book after I finish Patrimony.
I've had the audiobook for years but bumped it up the queue (it might be next up; that or next after the next). I've only read Roth's American Pastoral, which was captivating as hell.
Yeah that's a great book. I'd also recommend the following one, I Married a Communist. Really there's only a couple of his that are a bit snoozy, I think he may be my favorite novelist. Top three, certainly.
Cool. I'll hunt down the audiobook.

We've been watching Mrs. America, about the fight for/against ERA in the 70s. I honestly don't know how historically accurate it is (beyond the broader strokes), but it's been quite engaging as a narrative. The Boss has developed a proper hatred of Phyllis Schlafly, so there is that.

I saw that, I thought it was pretty good (also don't know how accurate it is, but it feels true which is great). Really great cast too.

Had that schitts creek highly recommended to me but after several episodes i gave up as it wasnt really doing it for me. Was told to stick with it so maybe I'll go back and give it another go.

Lilyhammer is one i quite liked, not sure is it still there though, old at this stage.

And watched E1 of Space Force last night. Not bad, a definite keeper for now anyway.
