If you feel really venturous, scroll down to the "strange German food" quiz to find out what Nonnenfürzle are.
They sound tasty.
Well they are tasty, despite their name. Unlike almost everything else on that list.

I used to love Kalter Hund though as a kid.
Why are they called nuns farts?

I don't know. Goes back to the Middle Ages I believe.

I could go for most on that list bar the fish or the first two. I dont mind steak tartare and love carpaccio but raw pork just a step too far. The cheese mites can fuck right off.
Himmel und Erde is great with black pudding.

Saumagen had the reputation of being Helmut Kohl's favourite dish, so I used to reject it on political grounds. When I tasted it eventually it wasn't so bad.
Who pfaffed the pfaff? Who got pfaffed tonight?

Himmel und Erde is a great name for a dish but it sounds like it should have some chocolate in it, maybe some sort of brownie? I'd like to try the fanta one.

It's a favourite with the kids. But nothing too special I think.

There is no way I'd drink anything that comes in a can that looks like that.

I might use it for slug traps but only if I didn't have to pay for it.

Idiots with beards pay shit loads of money to drink that shit whilst sitting in a car park on someone’s old smelly couch surrounded by old Thunderbirds toys.

So they have a couch outside that they sit on? I dont get the Thunderbird reference.

I do like a good micro brew but not the hoppy nonsense that has become so popular. I also have a beard but that is not uncommon in the northern territories.

I'd drink those beers
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Yep some have no inside they sell the beer from a shed or caravan and everyone sits around.
There are some old shops or warehouses used that have an inside but nothing is done to them. They always have shelves with stuff like Thunderbirds toys or games you played as a kid.
