The All New Track 2 Poll 2 Final

Post by 101Walterton »

This is the one you have all been waiting for....

Almost a full lineup for the grand final of Round 2 Take 2 and some classic tracks to chose from!!

We will go with the triple pick option to really mix it up.

Has the Earth fallen back to its correct axis or are there any late surprises?

If anything, a late inning insurance run tacked on because I didn’t see the thread until just now.

That 75% of you would try to steal the revote suggests that after this is done, an investigation and purge is required. Get your parkas ready, cos there's a gulag with your name on it. :naughty:

Anyone voting Sabbath over The Only Ones is a stupid fucking hippy and should vacate the premises.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

And a shockingly low score for Ian Dury.

Equating Sabbath and hippie says you're elbow-deep in moonshine on a weekday.

No, I'm sober. Black Sabbath would have been known as hippies in early 70s Britain. Long haired, dope smoking layabouts. It wasn't all peace and love.

Being a hippie meant more than just long hair and dope. That bleakness was a massive departure from hippiedom. Sabbath signalled as much as the Beatles break-up that the Sixties were over.

It really should have been Paranoid vs all the other original side picks too. And a song about someone battling depression is hardly hippie shit Heston.

And chart position. Plus, I guess, whether JFK's had his melon popped off yet.
