I'm pretty sure Shane sings this on the album.

Phil used to do it live. He really should have sang it on the album.

There's a Pogues documentary where he sings it with an acoustic in a record shop and it's brilliant. Much better than the album version.Low Down Low wrote: ↑21 Jun 2020, 6:25amAh, ok. Not sure where phil version comes from but that's my default one for the song. It's a goodun regardless, pogues had as many good songwriters as they had singers.

He technically had the best voice in KISS. Just couldn't lay off the booze.

I have a studio version he did on my music player somewhere, least i always thought it was studio anyway. Could be wrong though. I'm sure shane did a great job but i was a big fan of Phil from his earlier punk days and love his voice and lyrics. Great addition to the pogues but should have been bigger with his own band imo.Heston wrote: ↑21 Jun 2020, 6:27amThere's a Pogues documentary where he sings it with an acoustic in a record shop and it's brilliant.
