I've spent the last 2 hours toying with the idea of leaving for a few weeks. Mental health isn't great at the best of times but the last few days have been shit to say the least. However thinking upon that, I have friends here and leaving really would be counterproductive. Without people, you're nothing. As someone who often spends time in the same boat and as frustrating as Hes can be at times this place, for me does more good for me than bad. That said I've taken a few leaves of absence over the years (once people even noticed).

I wish I could give advice on the mental side of things. Ive tried happy pills and regular old talking to someone who despite what I paid provided little insight or advice.

Friends are key whether you can be with them physically or virtually. There's several people on here who have done more to help me in dark times than the people getting paid $100+/hr. But maybe thats a me thing I have trust issues.

Either way Tom people are here for you.

As someone who's been dealing with mental health issues for the past decade, I know how valuable this place is / can be. Seriously, this is the one solid place for me. Even if we don't see eye-to-eye on all things, I can honestly say, I love you guys. You've been a big part of my life since...whenever. So, Tom, please stay.
