Hi Marky and all,

It's a long time since I was last here and it's heartwarming to see that the site is still going. I have never posted much, but regularly listen to my Marky Dread remasters and reinterpretations. Like all of you, I have bought everything that has been released from the original vinyl singles to the latest London Calling remaster/scrapbook. I live in Australia but was able to travel to London before the shitstorm hit, and visited the exhibition at the Museum of London.

The Clash have not necessarily been the only band that matters to me, but they have always been the greatest rock and roll band ever.

Anyway Marky, I have just added the last year or two of your work to my collection and am working my way through it. There are probably lots more like me out there who lurk and enjoy your recordings without thanking you, so..

Thanks very much for your work. It brings me great pleasure.

I have lots of online storage if anyone needs me to share anything, and I have a reasonably complete collection of recordings. Just pm me if anyone needs anything.

Here's a nice upgrade of a previous remaster of mine. I've given this to Matedog and I think he's going upload to his YouTube channel.

Thanks for this one! These are amazing. I cannot wait to hear this upgrade and appreciate it so much. Thanks again!
Cheers mate I've got plenty more to come. I'm working on a live B.A.D. comp as I type. But lots more Clash to come also.
Excellent! I love B.A.D. and can't wait to hear that. (Happy birthday, Mick!) Thanks in advance!

Nice choices! One small thing though - first song is marked up as e=mc2 but it's Medicine Show.

Five songs in, this sounds fucking great! Poontang is cheesy as fuck but could have a huge hit if released I reckon.

V Thirteen is just great live.

Stone Thames is insane but absolutely brilliant.

Nice one (s) Marky! Looking forward! Great artwork, as usual, but these photo choices especially! Mick and I touched on the Medicine Show promo shoot today, an offshoot of remembering the Florida leg of the MTV Tour in ‘92. The thought of Johnny L. reminded me of when he tried to stab Gerry Harrington with a fork at Jesse Dylan’s house which reminded Mick of John going off on Chris Salewicz in similar fashion at that video shoot. Anger is an energy! Oh, and remember all, Poontang (or Wind Me Up) is basically a cover of a track by DJ Hollywood.

Agreed on both. Wind Me Up was just too much fun to leave out. It's clearly tongue in cheek.

The tracks from Night Network are some of my favourites and I probably like them more than the album tracks.

John is John I guess. I think he gets away with stuff like this at times just living up to the "Rotten" name.

I love that period of the band (artwork).
