Two votes per person in this one. Top two vote getters move on unless one gets over 50%.

The Go-Gos and the Belle Stars. Two brilliant pop tracks.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Said the person who nominated the Selecter, and most likely voted them amd the Slits.

Which is cool great bands but I think there are plenty of choices out of that era and punk and/or two tone scenes.

However this my be a horse and water thing on this board.

Sleater Kinney and the Go-Go's.
I have to say all the nominations are really good. The ones I wasn't familiar with I checked out on YT.
I forgot how good the Selecter were, I'm nominating one of their songs in the later rounds.

Man, this board really isn't much different from a top 40 countdown.

See that is where you are wrong. Yes I like The Selecter but don’t make out I am the only one championing the cause, great band. They are coming 3rd for a reason!!
