I do fancy a kebab tonight, after six lager or so. Maybe I can convince the Mrs to let me have one.Olaf wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 12:17pmYeah, in natural products.Heston wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 12:00pmI think Wally was paid actually.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 11:36amPity the unpaid intern tasked with doing that job.revbob wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 11:23amFor 101 only...

My 2 cents on Coldplay, Rush Of Blood had some good tracks, less so Parachutes and X&Y but still the odd banger. The rest is pretty wank.
The Scientist is fantastic however and an all time favourite.

Re: The Mighty Musical Observations Thread
Earlier on the album, Bob and Doug brag about how they were getting ten bucks—"Each!"—for the album. When Geddy Lee shows up to sing on their single, "Take Off," he explains, "Hey, ten bucks is ten bucks." To Canadians of a certain age—like, 50–65 years old—that's been a go-to line about getting ripped off. It's also the sole redeeming part of Geddy Lee's public life.revbob wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 6:15pmI thought he said Take Off Hoser or sumfin like thatDr. Medulla wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 6:13pmAs Geddy Lee said on Bob and Doug McKenzie's Great White North album, "Ten bucks is ten bucks."revbob wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 5:58pmWhat about to write it?101Walterton wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 4:36pmI like some Coldplay songs but not enough to read that.revbob wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 11:23amFor 101 only...
