The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 1 Track 3 Nominations

Post by Dr. Medulla »

After two rounds, here’s the running track order:
S1T1 Blondie, “Hanging on the Telephone”
S1T2 The Breeders, “Cannonball”

In a direct rebuttal to Flex, the voters said, no, IMCT is not a 70s pop board. This would seem to be a major blow toward Flex’s governor ambitions—if he can't read these voters, how can he read those of Colorado?

ABBA failed to increase its vote count from Round 2 to 3, while The Breeders picked up five additional votes (with two Round 2 votes not participating in Round 3). Truth be told, given the four options, I figured ABBA had to win outright in Round 2 as the Lovich and Chumbawamba votes seemed much more likely to shift to The Breeders. Heston, meanwhile, is left to wonder whether he’s out of touch or the kids are.

Needless to say, no Kim Deal songs the rest of the way.

Nominations are now open for around 48 hours for Side 1 Track 3. As suggested by international star of stage and screen gkbill, posting a youtube clip of your pick is encouraged for education purposes, as well as lobbying. IMCT voters are a lazy lot. so make it easier to promote your pick.

A song that always puts me in a good mood. Surprisingly not a hit in the US despite reaching top tens all over the world and being catchy as hell. This will probably work against it...

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Good choice I can get behind this one if I have to.

Hello,

The Interrupters - White Noise; from The Interrupters.

This is a great one. Babylon and She's Kerosene are track 3 on the last two albums and they are smokers.
