Shades of the 2016 election, I wonder if a few non-dusty voters are supporting other tracks on the assumption son of a preacher man was going to run away with it. Will be curious how the votes shake out if it heads to a runoff.

(I think son of a preacher man is a titan of a song, but I'd hardly be upset if patti smith wins this round either, fwiw - or any of the the others, come to that. This was a really tough heat).
