Sick Bed of Cuchulainn
Sally Maclennane
I'm a Man You Don't Meet Every Day
Wildcats of Kilkenny
Jesse James

I had the cassette so I always thought A Pistol For Paddy Garcia was part of the original album for years. Another great track but the whole album is superb.

This is head and shoulders my favorite Pogues album (almost every time I feel like listening to the Pogues it’s this one and I’m set) and this is hard as hell. I legit thought some other songs would make the cut but these are the ones I’m most likely to have stuck in my head.

I'm a Man You Don't Meet Every Day
A Pair of Brown Eyes
The Sick Bed of Cúchulainn
Dirty Old Town
Navigator
”INDER LOCK THE THE KISS THREAD IVE REALISED IM A PRZE IDOOT” - Thomas Jefferson

This is almost my exact list, but I'd replace Navigator with The Old Main Drag.

I've listened to the Pogues by my own choice like twice ever. (meaning not counting radio or someone else put it on)
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

On another day I might do the same.

I think it's a great cover. Really suits Shane's vocal. But each to their own.

I understand its a minority opinion, i think its one of those i just heard too many times, especially fellas belting it out in a pub late at night because it was the one song they'd remember the words to! But objectively i have great respect for it.
