i don't expect any regard for human life from ownership, but it's crazy to me that the player's union is still going along with all this.

That’s what’s killing me. They had so much leverage.

MLB has no plans to cancel or pause 2020 season
I know the meaning is supposed to be "no intentions" but I can't help but think that, no, they have no plans either.

So predictable …
President Donald Trump was so annoyed with the attention Dr. Anthony Fauci was receiving for throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for MLB's opening day that he decided to announce he was also invited to throw out a pitch for the Yankees next month, an official told The New York Times.

Despite his announcement and later cancellation of the plans to appear at an August 15 game, Trump was apparently never actually invited to pitch on that date.

Somehow, the red Sox have managed to limbo right under the low expectations I had set for them this season.

Thankfully this isn't a 162-game season. It also makes trading Mookie even more sensible—his last season would have been wasted surrounded by this kind of "talent."

I think we'll be lucky to get a 20 game season.

If it means a high draft pick, tank the rest of these games.

Will there even be 2 full teams standing to play for the championship?

Are the draft picks also contingent on the season making it to Sept. 1 like it is with the luxury tax reset?
