Ok that makes ZERO sense to me. I would only nominate and vote for songs I would want to hear.101Walterton wrote: ↑31 Jul 2020, 6:52pmI might nominate it in a poll of performances by women but I’d never play it!!

Yeah. I don’t even nominate second songs on here if someone picks my choice already.revbob wrote: ↑31 Jul 2020, 7:39pmOk that makes ZERO sense to me. Re: The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 1 Track 5 Nominations
I'm into picking second choice songs just because the nomination process is where I find goodies I may not have heard before, so the more the merrier. The reality is the familiar will always win the day on the actual voting, but the edifying, taste expanding exercise here is in the initial picks and sharing.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

I only pick winners! I have to win. I don't know why? Why am I here again?Flex wrote: ↑01 Aug 2020, 12:04amI'm into picking second choice songs just because the nomination process is where I find goodies I may not have heard before, so the more the merrier. Surely there are enough female artists that you don't need to pick something you don't like?101Walterton wrote: ↑31 Jul 2020, 6:52pmI might nominate it in a poll of performances by women but I’d never play it!!

Yeah this. I haven't yet nominated a song for any of this that I dont actively enjoy listening to and own.Silent Majority wrote: ↑01 Aug 2020, 6:43amSurely there are enough female artists that you don't need to pick something you don't like?101Walterton wrote: ↑31 Jul 2020, 6:52pmI might nominate it in a poll of performances by women but I’d never play it!!

I don’t dislike the song and I enjoy it if it comes on the radio. I may not chose to play it at home however as a performance I can appreciate it.revbob wrote: ↑01 Aug 2020, 8:01amYeah this.
