Cool! Are you planning on doing any private sales, or do we have to give Bezos his cut?

Cheers Chris! I've always cherished your book. I referenced your Bernie cartoon recently here.IkarisOne wrote: ↑10 Aug 2020, 1:48pmScreen Shot 2020-08-10 at 1.40.46 PM.png
It took a long time to get sorted out but Clash City Showdown is back in print after almost 15 years. For 19.77, even!

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Awesome! This is still one of the best reads on the Clash around, and love all the artwork. I assume this means you were able to untangle yourself from your original publisher?

Ooh, didn't think of that. If anyone's interested in an autographed copy, let me know via PM.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑10 Aug 2020, 1:50pmCool! Are you planning on doing any private sales, or do we have to give Bezos his cut?

Re: Clash City Showdown is back in print
There was a whole host of problems, actually. Which is odd given how it was the most fun I've ever had putting something together for publication.
Cheers Flexie.

Re: Clash City Showdown is back in print
Loved this book and had the pleasure of reading it again recently. Glad to see it's back in print. Might be a good idea to let all the Clash FB groups know of its second coming.

Re: Clash City Showdown is back in print
I still cherish my old copy, I think I ordered it direct from CK along with some old CCS fanzines. No Clash fan's bookshelf is complete without it, so it's good to see it available to the masses once more. I get a sense from reading comments on things like youtube videos that there's a whole new generation of Clash fans so with a bit of luck you should shift a few copies.
10/10 for that pricing gimmick too - and thank goodness the Clash never covered In The Year 2525 eh?

Damn! I tried making 19.77 Euros too but I guess the Amazon algorithim is following the exchange rates. I tried pricing it at 1977 yen too but no luck.JohnS wrote: ↑10 Aug 2020, 3:17pmI still cherish my old copy, I think I ordered it direct from CK along with some old CCS fanzines. Still got a copy of the invoice in mine from when I bought it. January 2004, very scary! Great stuff that it is back in print, I hope it sells well.

It got me through a shaky flight to Majorca in August 2004.

I knew Gary Numan and the Iron Maiden bloke were pilots, I didn't know Shakin Stevens was too.
